Microsoft Copilot is touted as ‘your everyday AI companion’ and coming to Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and as well as within the Edge web browser. The next Windows 11 update (Sep. 26) incorporates over 150 new features including several new AI powered experiences to apps like Paint, Photos, Clipchamp and more.
Copilot in Windows 11 enables users to quickly complete tasks, as it’s integrated directly onto the taskbar or with the Win+C keyboard shortcut, providing assistance alongside all your apps, whether it be at work, school or home. The Paint app has also been enhanced with AI for drawing and digital creation with such features as the addition of background removal as well as layers. Notepad also starts automatically saving your session state allowing users to close the app without any interrupting dialogs. As for Microsoft 365 Copilot, the update is set to be released for enterprise customers on Nov. 1, 2023.
