One gamer who goes by ‘theloudestlion’ asked Midjourney AI to generate PS5 controllers and these monstrosities ensued. More specifically, the prompt entered was ‘female influencer relaxing playing PlayStation 5 having a blast’. As you can see, the AI got the number of fingers right, but their placement oh so wrong.
Another major flaw is the sheer number of extra buttons and analog sticks that Midjourney added, with random placements for them all. A jumbo-sized controller might work for some, but three out of the four generated just don’t look comfortable at all, even for short gaming sessions. The only controller that might work is the smallest of the bunch, which looks to fit quite comfortably in the hand, although her holding it that way is just awkward.
