You can either build a tank, or spend $3,000 USD buying this electric tank off of Alibaba and have it shipped straight to your home. Called the AVT-T01, it comes equipped with a pair of 3 kW electric motors, one powering each track, making a combined 8 hp, enabling the tank to hit a top speed of 18 mph.
This miniature 7-foot-long tank can tackle steep inclines in a low gear, or at around 3 mph. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the cannon you see is not functional and just a piece of painted PVC pipe. On the bright side, it has a 14.4 kWh battery capacity, or the equivalent of some electric motorcycles. There’s no word on shipping cost, but we imagine that it might set you back at least $1,000+.
