To start things off, he basically had to ditch the factory blaster in order to transform it into a ball launching rifle. The lower receiver was pieced together first before machining a custom pneumatic mechanism that loads a ball into the chamber and then launches it. This allows for it to function in both single-shot and fully-automatic mode. A barrel was then manufactured alongside the stock.
