New Ground Technology Kobe Bryant Tribte
New Ground Technology specializes in crafting custom high-definition designs on playing fields, and their latest project pays tribute to the late Kobe Bryant. Kelli Pearson’s stunning 115-foot portrait of the former Lakers great can be found on a Bay Area softball field. This was made possible using the company’s patented Turfprinter technology. This likeness of Kobe Bryant was then loaded into a GPS-guided, lawn mower machine that moves around the canvas. It blows air to gently bend the grass blades away or toward you to make up the dark and light contrast, which means it requires no paint nor does it harm the grass.
