Nintendo has just released a new The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom trailer that shows Princess Zelda with her own sword. This weapon is hidden within Hyrule and enables her to fend off enemies and clear obstacles that block her path when in sword fighting form.
One thing you’ll have to keep in mind is that this form isn’t permanent, as Zelda still needs to replenish the sword by collecting orbs of energy for it from the Still World. When not battling enemies, Zelda can traverse Hyrule and the Still World through various methods, including echoes, fast travel sites called Waypoints, on foot, or on horseback. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is slated to hit the Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024.
