There are rumors circulating about the Nintendo Switch successor, and the main one focuses on a 7-inch OLED panel made by Samsung. When this new Pro model is connected to a TV, it will be able to output 4K ultra high-resolution graphics, or 720p when in handheld mode. Earlier this year, a dataminer discovered a mysterious console named Aula in a firmware update that reportedly uses the Mariko (Tegra X1+) SoC chip and support for a Realtek chip capable of 4K UHD multimedia SoC.

As mentioned above, the dataminer also noted that the Switch Pro’s display will most likely be 720p / 1080p when in handheld mode, and that the 4K chip may be located in the dock instead of the console itself. When can you expect to see the Switch Pro? If it follows the trend of other Nintendo consoles, some time around September 2021.
