Auto enthusiasts know that the Nissan GT-R NISMO is fast, but is it quick enough to beat a Ferrari 812 Superfast in a drag race? Mat Watson of CarWow wanted to find out, so he pit the two supercars against each other in a battle that might surprise some.
The 3,802-pound Nissan GT-R NISMO is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L V6 engine making 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Power for the 3,594-pound Ferrari 812 Superfast comes from a naturally-aspirated 6.5L V12 engine that generates 800 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Now the biggest difference is the price tag, as the former sets you back $221,000 USD, while the Italian supercar is priced from $434,000.

I know it is the NISMO version but you have to appreciate the Godzilla, it’s been 17 years with the same model and it is still matching super GTs and supercars these days. Amazing,” said one commenter.
