Ever wish you could turn your thoughts into images? Well, thanks to NVIDIA, that is now a possibility. Using the deep learning model behind GauGAN, all users need to do is simply type a phrase and then artificial intelligence generates the scene in real time. You can then add an additional adjective or swap words, and the model, based on generative adversarial networks, instantly modifies the picture. At the press of a button, users can also generate a segmentation map, which is basically a high-level outline that depicts the location of objects in the scene. Yes, it can even recreate the two suns on Tatooine in the Star Wars franchise. How? Just type “desert hills sun” to create a starting point and then other words to generate a second sun.
