A programmer who goes by “Dragon_GameDev2” on Twitter recently started work on a Pokémon FPS powered by Unreal Engine, and it looks amazing to say the least. The gameplay is inspired by other famous FPS titles such as Overwatch, Call of Duty, and Halo, while the game itself is separated into three different sections with each area containing different Pokemon. As you progress, the creatures get more difficult to eliminate, ultimately culminating in a legendary Pokemon boss battle.
No, these Pokémon creatures weren’t hand drawn, but rather imported using six different programs. That’s right, these Pokemon character models were actually imported from various games into this one. Whether it be Arbok, Farfetched, Machamp, or Mewtwo, you’ll find them in this unique FPS title. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on if it will ever get released to the public.
