Set to be released during holiday 2020 in North America, Europe, South America and Australia, and Japan, the PlayStation 5 will go to battle with the Microsoft Xbox Series X as well as the Nintendo Switch Pro. The DualShock 5 is alleged to also boast stronger haptic feedback through voice coil actuators, which combined with an improved controller speaker is intended to give better in-game feedback. The USB-C connectivity and higher rated battery also improve upon its predecessor.
