Porsche 911 Speedster

At $274,500 and limited to just 1,948-units worldwide, the 2019 Porsche 911 Speedster costs more than a Lamborghini Huracan, but has the performance to back it up. It’s powered by the same 4.0-liter flat-six unit from the previous generation 911 GT3 and GT3 RS models, generating 503 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds flat, while topping out at 193mph. Suspension wise, it features the GT3’s dampers, albeit slightly softened for smoother road driving, paired with the GT3’s springs, while retaining the four-wheel steering system. It’s expected to hit dealer showrooms in late 2019.

“While the car does feature the same chassis as the 911 GT3 models, it does include specifically-calibrated rear axle steering and new dynamic engine mounts. A set of Satin Black 20-inch center lock wheels are also standard. The car also comes equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes as standard and no air conditioning is featured. However, customers can select air conditioning as a no-cost option. All up, the new Speedster tips the scales at 3230 lbs (1465 kg),” reports Car Scoops.
