The production Koenigsegg Gemera has officially been unveiled, and it definitely exceeds expectations. This four-seat hypercar is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 engine, paired with a single Dark Matter Radial Flux E-motor, that generate a combined 2,300 hp and 2,028 lb-ft of torque, mated to a nine-speed, seven-clutch Light Speed Transmission (LST).
If 2,300 hp is a bit too much power, the base model still packs a twin-turbocharged three-cylinder engine, paired with the Dark Matter motor, producing a combined 1,400 hp and 1,364 lb-ft of torque. Both variants are set to go into production in the Gripen Atelier at the end of 2024, with customer deliveries starting during the first part of 2025. One caveat: pricing begins at a whopping $1.7-million USD.
