From these photos captured by Buttonwillow CHP, it appears as if a handful of production Tesla Cybertruck vehicles are headed for the Fremont factory from Giga Texas. What you can’t see here is that the front of these vehicles have all been wrapped with an adhesive-backed plastic film to protect the factory finish from unwanted damage during transportation.

There’s no word yet on whether if these are customer vehicles or just ones set to be delivered to showrooms for test drives in the near future. Tesla executives did previously state that customer delivers are set to begin in late 2023, so only time (or an unsuspecting Elon Musk post) will tell if that truly is the case.

While on patrol this morning…One of our units spotted a few car haulers loaded with some strange trucks traveling northbound on Interstate 5. I wonder what they are? Where are they going?,” said the officer.
