Ray-Ban Meta smartglasses are nothing new, but these Super Bowl ads definitely cost the company at least $8-million USD. In the first ad, we can see actor Chris Pratt donning the AI glasses to identify a piece of fine art—specifically, ‘Comedian’ by Maurizio Cattelan, that looks like a banana duct taped to the wall.
Pratt continues exploring the fine art / museum exhibit and then joined by Chris Hemsworth, who just so happened to be hungry while walking by that $6.2-million art piece. This leads the duo to begin rifling through a refrigerator in search of a replacement banana.

The Big Game is all about peak performance, pageantry, and some good, old-fashioned rivalry. What better way to introduce Ray-Ban Meta glasses to new audiences than by tapping into that spirit with Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt?,” said Meta.
