What started out as Project Hazel at the beginning of this year has now become the Razer Zephyr, an FDA-registered wearable air purifier mask. Priced from $99.99 USD for the most basic kit, it boasts two N95 grade filters that last three times longer than single-use disposable masks, dual 2-speed fans to improve air circulation as well as cooling, RGB lighting, a silicone seal for a better fit, and a transparent front to show facial expressions. Read more for two videos, including an early hands-on review.
The Razer Chroma RGB setup lets you control the interior lights and fans using the free Zephyr app available on both iOS as well as Android platforms. To prevent the transparent front from fogging up, you’ll need to also apply the included anti-fog spray on it. Aside from the initial price tag ($99.99 including 3 sets of filters), ten replacement sets of Razer N95 filters will run you $29.99, with each pair lasting for approximately 3-days. However, for those who don’t want to worry about replacements for 99-days, simply pick up the $150 Zephyr Starter Pack for the mask and 33 sets of filters.
