Regal Unlimited Movie Subscription
Regal Cinemas has taken the wraps off its monthly subscription plan, set to compete with AMC A-List and Moviepass. Plans range from $18 to $23.50 per month with a 12-month commitment, and you can view as many movies as they want on a standard format screen. Larger cities, like Los Angeles and New York, require you to sign up for the Unlimited All Access ($23.50) plan, but includes premium theaters, like L.A. Live and Manhattan’s Union Square multiplex. Unlike AMC A-List and Moviepass, all of Regal’s plans tack on a $0.50 convenience fee for every movie booked through the app. Plus, a $1.50-$3 surcharge applies for special features like 4DX, IMAX, 3D and double features. However, subscribers do get a 10% concession stand discount, no blackout dates and of course, free popcorn + soda on your birthday. More information.
