Rover 200 Coupe Turned Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R Replica
H/t: Car Scoops
At first glance, some may think this is a real Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R, but in fact, it’s just a Rover 200 Coupé. Thai Body Car, a tuning shop in Thailand, specializes in transforming these two-door coupes into somewhat decent R34 replicas. Why did they choose this British vehicle over all of the others? Well, its side windows resemble those found on the R34, which saves them a lot of custom fabrication work.

As for the body modifications, everything is pretty straightforward, which begins by disassembling both front as well as rear ends. Next, custom body panels are added before headlights, taillights, fenders, bumpers, and the trunks, are installed. Considering the Rover has a wheelbase of 100.4 inches, compared to the R34’s 104.9-inches, the team just had to make sure that the body was lengthened. Most surprising of all, they actually installed a complete R34 dashboard inside the Rover, but unfortunately, the extra gauges do not work. One big caveat: it’s powered by a Honda 1.6L engine making just 109 horsepower, mated to an automatic transmission, but some forced induction should take care of that problem. How much does all of this cost? Around $12,500+ USD for a complete conversion that takes around 2-months.
