Samsung’s Fan Edition phones have always struck a sweet spot, packing near-flagship vibes into a wallet-friendly package. With the Galaxy S25 FE, it looks like they’re leaning hard into that strategy. Thanks to leaked renders and early scoops from OnLeaks and SammyGuru, we’re getting a solid peek at what’s dropping later this year.

Samsung’s design for the Galaxy S line has found its rhythm, and the S25 FE sticks close to that beat. Those leaked pics show a phone that could pass for the Galaxy S24 FE at first glance. You’ve got the same vertical triple-camera stack with an LED flash, a hole-punch screen, and buttons lined up tidy on one side. It’s a sleek, no-nonsense look that screams Samsung, focusing on what works over wild changes. But there’s a little tweak: the S25 FE clocks in at 161.4 mm x 76.6 mm x 7.4 mm, shaving off some thickness compared to the 8 mm-thick S24 FE.

Look for a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, a signature move from Samsung for those bold, lively displays. It’s rocking a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and zippy animations, though it’s up in the air if it’ll adjust to save battery. The S24 FE’s screen was already a winner, but early leaks hint the S25 FE’s bezels are slimmer, squeezing in a bit more screen in the same space. Next to the base S25, the FE’s bezels are a bit chunkier, but they’re slimmer than the last model’s.

Driving the Galaxy S25 FE is the Exynos 2400e, the same chip that powered the S24 FE. That pick’s got people chatting, since it’s a last-gen processor while the Snapdragon 8 Elite is raising the bar for Samsung’s flagship crew. The Exynos 2400e isn’t a dud—it handles daily stuff and gaming fine—but it’s not keeping pace with the latest flagship power.

The camera setup on the S25 FE feels like a mixed deal. The back matches the S24 FE with a 50MP main shooter with optical stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. No big jumps here, which might leave photo buffs wanting more. Up front, though, the selfie cam jumps to 12MP from the S24 FE’s 10MP, promising crisper selfies and better low-light shots.

Samsung’s software still shines as a big draw. The Galaxy S25 FE will roll out with One UI 8 on Android 16, serving up a slick, tweakable interface packed with Galaxy AI tricks. Think smart photo edits or noise-canceling Audio Eraser for videos—these bits aim to make the phone feel clever and handy. Plus, Samsung’s pledge of seven years of updates means this guy will stay fresh into the early 2030s.

Battery details are still fuzzy, but word on the street from analysts points to a 4,700mAh cell with 45W wired charging and 15W wireless. If that holds, it’s pretty close to the S24 FE, so don’t expect a big shake-up. A 4,700mAh battery should power through a full day, especially with the Exynos 2400e’s efficiency, though it won’t match flagship endurance.

Samsung’s Fan Edition crew is all about bang for your buck, and the S25 FE looks ready to keep that going. Official pricing’s still under wraps, but X chatter pegs it around $599-$699, a nice dip below the flagship S25 lineup. That puts the S25 FE right in the ring with mid-range champs like the Google Pixel 9 or OnePlus 13.
