Modular smartphone concepts have come and gone, but it’s only a matter of time before one of the major technology companies unveils one that actually hits production. The Samsung Galaxy S9 Modular could be one of them. Featuring dual rear cameras capable of shooting 1000fps slow-motion video, a rear fingerprint scanner, and magnetic pins that enable users to add additional modules (camera lenses, secondary display, etc.). “The fingerprint scanner seems to stay at the back, in a more ergonomic position and the front side has even narrower bezel, plus two front cameras are featured there. As far as modules go, they will attach to the device without a set of pins,” reports Concept-Phones.
