What does 0.6-micrometer (μm) pixels in a 1/1.3” optical format mean? It basically means that you’ll be able to enjoy a higher resolution camera without the large bump. Samsung’s new Dual Vertical Transfer Gate (D-VTG) technology ensures that your pictures are never washed out, thanks to a photo diode within each pixel. In low-light scenarios, the HP2’s Super QPD comes into play, which enables the sensor to use all of its 200-million pixels for focusing agents. Plus, there’s a DSG feature in 50MP mode that applies two separate conversion values to the analog signal received at the pixel level for superb HDR performance.
