Samsung recently filed a trademark with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for PlayGalaxy Link, and many are speculating that this is the name for their new cloud gaming service. The company partnered with Finnish company Hatch, a subsidiary of Rovio Entertainment, and launched a new 5G cloud gaming service in Korea. If this does become a reality, it would take on Apple Arcade and Google Stadia. Read more to see the patent and for additional information.

“Consumers who buy the Galaxy S10 5G there receive a free three-month Hatch Premium as a gift. Whether the name PlayGalaxy Link refers to this new service is still unknown. The trademark for PlayGalaxy Link is not applied for in Korea, but in America. Anyway, it seems that Samsung intends to soon announce its version of Apple Arcade for the American and perhaps also the European market,” reports Lets Go Digital.
