Unlike other TVs, the Samsung Sero Vertical TV aims to be a giant smartphone display, but it can actually pivot between vertical and horizontal viewing. This 43-inch OLED 4K UltraHD display offers NFC-compatibility so you can mirror content from your mobile device straight to the screen. Or, you can use it as a digital photo frame for your Instagram shots or even a music visualizer. Other features include: 4.1 channel sound, 60W audio, and Samsung Bixby voice assistant. It’ll set you back a cool $1,623 when it launches in Korea at the end of May. Read more for a video and additional information.
“Since many photos and videos captured on smartphones and shared on social networks these days are in vertical (AKA portrait) orientation, The Sero allows those photos and videos to be enjoyed on the full vertical screen (perhaps even with room for comments on the bottom). What’s more, if you’d like to view anything in conventional landscape orientation, you can easily rotate the screen on the stand,” reports Peta Pixel.
