Samsung T7 Shield Portable SSD
The new Samsung T7 Shield Portable SSD is the company’s most rugged yet, making it ideal for use outdoors. Not only can it survive a 9.8-foot (3-meter) drop, but it’s also IP65-certified, which means the drive is dustproof as well as water resistant, all the while weighing in at just 98-grams. It still delivers a read speed of 1,050 megabytes per second (MB/s) and a write speed of 1,000 MB/s despite its ruggedness.

Samsung also optimized the surface material and improved the software in the T7 Shield, which solves the performance degradation as well as overheating that occur when transferring large files. It’s compatible with PC, Mac, Smartphone (Android), or game consoles, complete with 256-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) hardware encryption to ensure your data is always safe. This drive may be compact, but it still won’t fit inside the Robeetle.
