Just like the Jurassic Park Burger Restaurant in Brazil, this Shake Shack x Super Mario Bros. Movie VIP event transformed the Dumbo, Brooklyn location into something you’d expect to see in a video game. This limited-time promotional event included the Shroom Burger and Gold Star Shake.
What is a Shroom Burger ($9.99)? It’s basically a mushroom portabello burger that comes with muenster / fontina / parmesan cheeses, Calibrian chile-tomato sauce and pepperoni. As for the Gold Star Shake ($6.79), it features a peach and strawberry frozen custard topped with blue sprinkles as well as a dried star fruit. The promotion only ran until April 2nd, so there’s no word yet on if these limited-edition items will return to the main menu.
