Smallest Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) Arcade Machine
Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) was first introduced back in 1998 and started the wave of rhythm / dance genre in video games. Now, BigRig Creates has created the world’s smallest Dance Dance Revolution arcade machine that can be played with just your fingers, with tiny 3D-printed shoes being optional.

He started with TinyArcade’s $25 Boardwalk Arcade Dance Dance Revolution machine that just didn’t live up to his expectations, despite looking like a miniature DDR arcade machine. Why? It only comes loaded with three songs with sound being channeled through tiny speakers. So, he set out to give it a full arcade makeover, powered by a Raspberry Pi 4 board. Featuring a 1-inch LCD screen, a custom PCB, Running StepMania software, a custom Python script to control the LEDs, and the ability to connect an external audio source.
