Paramount has just released the first Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer featuring Keanu Reeves’ Shadow character. It’s set to premier in theaters on December 20, with Ben Schwartz reprising his role as Sonic, while Jim Carrey returns as the evil Dr. Robotnik and James Marsden as Tom Wachowski.
This installment will follow Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles as they reunite to battle a powerful new adversary, Shadow the Hedgehog. The mysterious villain showcases powers unlike any the trio have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Sonic and his friends must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow to protect Earth.
