Designer Giuseppe Spinelli gives us a possible first look at the production DualShock 5 controller as he created the render you see above based on patent sketches filed by Sony in Japan. As you can see, this version does not have a light bar, but does sport a USB port along with larger triggers and smaller analog sticks. Read more for a video and additional information.
Giuseppe says that the touchpad may look different in the final model, though he does add a player status LED that is assumed to be a front camera in the official DualShock 5 controller. It is rumored to have haptic feedback instead of just ‘rumble’ vibration to enable gamers to feel exactly what they see on screen, whether it be walking through a grassy area or jumping into a cave.
