We may never see an XPERIA gaming phone, but Sony’s PlayStation Project Q handheld is coming sooner than later, or at least according to this alleged leak. Put simply, the device enables gamers to stream their PlayStation library to the smaller 8-inch display over Wi-Fi.

All of the games must be already installed on a paired PlayStation 5, while PlayStation VR 2 games are fully excluded from working with Project Q. Put simply, the device looks like a DualSense wireless controller that has been sliced in half, connected to the mid-section of a Nintendo Switch. One caveat: you’ll need at least a 5Mbps internet connection to play the games and 15Mbps for things to run smoothly. There’s no word yet o pricing or availability.
