Futuristic Sony Xperia Smartphone Concept Has a Built-in Smartwatch Dock

You’ve seen the Sony Xperia gaming smartphone, now check out an interesting concept by industrial designer Shantanu Maheshwari, which has an integrated smartwatch dock. The smartphone itself features a 6.83-inch QHD+ Dynamic OLED screen, dual rear cameras including a 200MP AI sensor, a 32MP selfie camera, and a magnetic charging pill on the back for smartwatches, earbuds, etc.

As for the smartwatch, it boasts a 1.9-inch AMOLED screen and a magnetic charging pill on the back for use when docking. When docked, the smartwatch can act as a second display for the smartphone for notifications or when taking selfies with the 200MP AI camera. There’s no word yet on if Sony has such a device in their plans, but a smartphone / smartwatch hybrid device isn’t as farfetched as you may think.
