Star Wars Episode 1 Racer UE4

Gamer and modder RobJin has managed to recreate Star Wars Episode 1 Racer in Unreal Engine 4, and it looks amazing to say the least. Work began approximately 10-months ago, and despite some optimization and animation issues, the game is fully playable. You take control of Anakin Skywalker in his swift junker on the Mos Espa map on Tatooine. The original game, released in 1999, features a variety of tracks spanning several different planets, and includes all of the racers featured in the movie as well as additional competitors exclusive to the game. For those who don’t remember or weren’t around for this game’s original release, the player character’s podracer comes equipped with a boost function that can be activated. When activated, the temperature rises, and if the player boosts for too long, the engines will actually explode, destroying the vehicle and costing the player several seconds as they respawn to continue racing.
