Many gaming fans know that March 10 is also referred to as Mar10Day, or Mario Day. This means that many Mario series games are being discounted at retailers worldwide, but programmer Sean Noonan has something else in mind: “Super 1-1 Challenge”. Simply put, it’s a first-person, 3D remake of Super Mario Bros. World 1-1. Read more for a video and additional information.
The playable prototype is currently available on Itch.io, and while it’s difficult to spot the similarities between this game and the actual World, just know that it’s a person interpretation of the level. Gameplay mechanics include the normal jumps as well as projectile weapon. More information here.
