Panasonic Wear Space

Panasonic Wear Space, a collaboration with Japanese fashion designer Kunihiko Morinaga, is a bizarre wearable gadget with noise-cancelling headphones. The main idea is to keep the wearer focused when in open spaces such as coffee shops, schools, and co-working spaces. It consists of flexible material that wraps around the back of your head, extending all the way to the sides of your eyes, thus blocking out distractions in your peripheral view. Panasonic Shoe Smell MS-DS100

Have stinky shoes, and at least 5-hours to spare? Look no further than the Panasonic MS-DS100 Shoe Deodorizer. Simply plug the device in with the bottom nodes placed over the top of your shoes, and then highly charged ions are used to penetrate through the material, thus dissolving odor-causing particles. If the normal 5-hour mode just isn’t enough, there’s also a 7-hour long mode, which according to the company, is for “when you are especially concerned about smell or pollen.” Continue reading for more pictures and information.

Panasonic Invisible TV

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is basically a light-emitting diode (LED) in which the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compound that emits light in response to an electric current. Panasonic has managed to embed an OLED display, developed from fine mesh, directly into the glass sliding doors of an entertainment center. When not in use, the display becomes transparent, and whatever is located behind it can be viewed normally again. Continue reading for more cool pictures from around the web.

Panasonic Transparent TV

Panasonic unveiled a transparent TV set during CES 2016 last week in Las Vegas. At the wave of a hand, it goes completely translucent, and revealing whatever is located behind it. It can also slide up and down the sides of the bookcase on rails, making re-positioning easy. Widgets can still be used while in transparent mode, so checking the weather, changing music tracks, etc., is all possible. Particle effects, like snow and rain, were added for when the set is not in use. Continue reading for more fascinating images from around the web.

Panasonic Lumix CM1

Panasonic’s Lumix CM1 is no ordinary camera or phone, it’s touted as the “world’s slimmest communication camera”. Early reviewers have been calling it the best camera phone yet, thanks to a 1-inch, 20-megapixel CMOS sensor and f/2.8 28mm equivalent Leica lens. If those numbers mean nothing to you, think of it as a ultra slim phone that would rival some of your favorite point-and-shoots, blowing the iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S6’s cameras out of the water. Speaking of smartphone functionality, it runs Android and is powered by a Snapdragon processor, with 2GB of RAM. Product page. Continue reading for a video review and more information.
