The Tesla Cybertruck is set to begin production at Giga Texas after Model Y production ramps and one of the latest spy videos shows off the new rear taillight illumination pattern for the first time. There’s no confirmation yet on whether the Cybertruck will be equipped with the new 4680 battery cells, like the Texas-built Model Y, but we do know that the factory is being retooled for the electric truck.

What we do know is that this prototype is as close as it gets to the production model, and the rear taillight configuration appears to consist of three sections now with either side giving off an orange glow. Elon Musk did state that final specifications and pricing will be materially different from those unveiled on the concept vehicle in 2019 during the annual shareholders meeting.
