At first glance, this looks like any other vending / recycling machine, but upon closer inspection, you’ll realize that it dispenses food for stray animals in exchange for plastic bottles. Istanbul, Turkey is known for its high number of strays, with some estimating as many as 150,000 stray dogs alone.
