The infamous M1 motorway that connects London to Leeds may be the first inter-urban motorway to be completed in the UK, but most drivers hate the daily commute, and one of the reasons is because of the traffic. This person encountered something that probably caused quite the backup once police arrived on scene, or more specifically, a truck driver who collided with a Volkswagen Polo and failed to stop.
Fortunately, Greg Krysztofowiciz, travel manager at Greg’s Couriers, the company who owns the truck, said that nobody was injured. The Volkswagen made a lane change and then the truck apparently unknowingly dragged it along the tarmac for around 20 meters (66 feet). This wasn’t some new truck driver either, as he has worked at Greg’s Couriers for the past 8-years and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.
