You’ve seen LG’s DukeBox, now here’s an up-close look straight from CES 2024. It basically combines a vacuum tube wireless speaker with transparent OLED panel technology, providing a modernized jukebox experience.
DukeBox comes equipped with front-facing speakers at the bottom and a 360° speaker at the top, while the transparency of the OLED display can be easily adjusted. The latter creates a mesmerizing visual effect reminiscent of a vacuum tube audio system enclosed in a transparent glass box. That’s not all, the transparent OLED can be used to watch movies, or even create a cozy fireplace ambiance with the flickering flames. You’ll still need NTT’s SpeakerBeam to tune out background noise though.
