US Air Force Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider Stealth Bomber
Frank Kendall, the newly appointed Secretary of the US Air Force, announced that there are now five Northrop Grumman test aircraft being manufactured on the B-21 production line at Plant 42 in Palmdale, California. He added that this investment (maximum of $665-million USD each) in meaningful military capabilities will project power and hold targets at risk anywhere in the world. Since this is still a classified project, all technical specifications are being kept under wraps, but the Air Force did say that when it comes to delivering a multilayered response to threats, Northrop Grumman’s B-21 Raider will be both a symbol and source of America’s strength.
