This isn’t the first time that someone has used a game controller to control a real car, but it’s most certainly the first we’ve seen of it happening inside a car and not remotely. One previous example would be the Nissan GT-R/C, which is driven using a PlayStation Dualshock 4 controller. We imagine this Kia being driven by an Xbox One controller follows the same as the PS4 example. One button is set up to control the gas, the other for brakes, while up on the D pad selects forward gear, down is reverse and steering is left / right. Thankfully, this test was being conducted at 2am rather than in the middle of the day during rush hour traffic.
