There’s the Mellow Watch, and now, the Verizon Gizmo Watch 3, both of which are practical smartwatches for kids. Available January 5th and priced at $149.99 USD, this device comes equipped with a front-facing camera that lets kids make video calls, take pictures, and record video messages that can be shared with Trusted Contacts.
The number of Trusted Contacts has been increased from 10 to 20, while more safe zones can be set to send parents location alerts that are activated when your child leaves a predetermined area using GPS tracking. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform, a modern processor that provides up to 80% more talk time. A Bluetooth connection lets you pair wireless earbuds or headphones and built-in games such as Tic Tac Toe, keep your child busy.
