More specifically, the human actor who first steps out onto the roof of the Web Slingers attraction’s building before sneaking off for the acrobat robot to make its grand entrance, capable of somersaults and even backflips. Simply put, Walt Disney Imagineers developed Stuntronics technology to create superhuman flight through the thoughtful and innovative application of technology. It does so by combining advanced robotics with the exploration of untethered dynamic movement, thus mimicking realistic aerial stunts that would not be safe for a human to perform.
