The company says that learning to ride this is as easy as a bicycle. Priced at $1,299 and weighing in at just 32-pounds, thanks to an aluminum alloy fame, it boasts modular design for easy storage as well as transportation – skis are removable, so sticking it in a car trunk should be no problem. “Quick Release System allows riders to disassemble their bike in less than 30 seconds for practical storage and transportation. Ski-bikes date back 150 years where they were built from metal or wood for winter transportation in Europe. It wasn’t until the mid 20th century that ski-bikes were designed and used for recreational purposes. A wide variety of snow-bikes and ski-bobs entered the market over the next half of a century,” said its creators.
