The Xiaomi Cyberdog 2 may not have as many functions as Spot, but it definitely made a splash a Mobile World Congress 2024 this week. Its 19 sensors for vision, touch, and hearing, enable it to replicate the movements, appearance, as well as interactions of a real dog.



For $3,000 USD, you won’t get ChatGPT integration nor have the ability to act as a tour guide, but it can do backflips off couches and even skateboards. The open-source nature of its technology underpins an ecosystem primed for customization and programming, allowing developers to unlock limitless creative possibilities over time.
