Boston Dynamics’ Spot has too high of a price tag ($70,000+) for most, but Xiaomi may have the next best thing, the $1,540 USD CyberDog. This quadruped open-source robotic dog is powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson Xavier NX platform, which is essentially an AI Supercomputer for Embedded and Edge Systems. It features 384 CUDA Cores, 48 Tensor Cores, a 6 Carmel ARM CPU, and 2 deep learning acceleration engines. Read more for two videos, additional pictures and information.



To keep it balanced, it comes equipped with 11 high-precision sensors for instant feedback to guide its movements, including touch sensors, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, GPS modules, and more. In addition to being able to sense, analyze, and interact with its environment, CyberDog sports enhanced capability to perceive its surroundings using an array of camera sensors, like AI interactive cameras as well as an Intel RealSense D450 Depth module. Use its 3 type-C ports and 1 HDMI port to integrate creative hardware add-ons or software systems. The company will be releasing 1,000-units to Xiaomi fans, engineers and robotic enthusiasts.
