XTURISMO Hoverbike Japan Price Specs Release
We covered the launch of A.L.I. Technologies’ XTURISMO hoverbike a few months back, but now we learned that it is going to be limited to just 200-units worldwide, priced at a whopping $777,000 USD. This single-seater electric hoverbike uses propellers driven by electric motors, and a Kawasaki motorcycle engine, to fly several meters above ground. Practical applications outside of racing it around a track includes search and rescue operations in disaster-hit areas. Read more for two videos and additional information.

Measuring roughly 12-feet-long and 8-feet-wide, it’s compact enough to fit in a standard two-car garage and can be charged right at home, with a flight time of 40-minutes on a single charge. The production model is designated for track-use only, but the company is working with Japanese authorities to develop a street-legal version that would be classified as a motorcycle.

We will enable the emergency use of hoverbikes in times of disaster, and at the same time, promote the use of hoverbikes in entertainment in times of non-emergency. In order to implement this technology in society, we feel the need to first develop regulations and foster general recognition (social acceptability). We will develop this technology as an industry that can contribute to society,” said Daisuke Katano, President and Representative Director of A.L.I. Technologies..
