YouTuber Mark Rober Drop Egg Space
YouTuber and former NASA engineer Mark Rober dropped an egg from space for his latest project, and the first step was calculating its terminal velocity. What they found out was that a mattress could protect an egg traveling faster than its terminal velocity. Getting it into space was an entirely different story, as that required testing with a custom-built rocket and weather balloon.

However, things did not go as planned the first time around, but the second go went a lot smoother. There was just one issue, the rocket went into an uncontrolled spin due to the movable fins after being dropped, so back to the drawing board they went. The goal was for the weather balloon to reach the edge of space with one egg inside a rocket and then another inside a giant beach ball, with both landing safely afterwards.
