Zelda Anime Scene Unreal Engine 5
No game can beat going to an actual Tokyo anime cafe, but one Nintendo fan wanted to showcase the power of Unreal Engine 5. So, RwanLink created an incredible Zelda anime scene using the game engine. Models first had to be created, including Link and his shield / sword, before they could be animated.

Creating the models was the easy part, as RwanLink then made a cel shader to test how light and shows react to the character. The final look of the image was defined directly in Unreal Engine 5. What may surprise you is that all the details you see were directly modeled onto the mesh without using textures, just flat colors. Lastly, the camera angles had to be adjusted so viewers don’t look outside the action.
