Litchfield Motors wanted to be one of the first tuning shops to work on the 2020 Toyota Supra, and it paid off in a big way. They have already programmed an ECU tune that boosts power output to 420 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque, which is quite a big jump from the claimed factory numbers of 335 hp and 369 lb-ft torque from the 3.0-liter BMW-sourced engine. What’s next for Litchfield? They’ve teamed up with Milltek and Akrapovic – famous for their previous-generation Supra exhaust systems – to develop new center piping and an upgraded exhaust system that hopes to increase power to 450 hp+. There’s no word yet on when this ECU tune will be available to customers who have just now started taking delivery of their vehicles.
