The problem with most electric vehicles is that they take at least 20-minutes to get an 80% charge using a 250-kW Level 3 charger, but the 2025 Zeekr 007 aims to change that. This new model features upgraded lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries that support 5.5C ultra-fast charging that allows it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 10.5 minutes.
When these LFP batteries are paired with the Zeekr V3’s ultra-fast charging piles, the charging speed exceeds what is achieved by existing nickel-cobalt-manganese batteries. That’s not all, its enhanced battery management system (BMS) ensures that the vehicle’s charging experience remains stable and fast even in harsh environmental conditions (as low as -10° C).

Zeekr has opened over 500 ultra-fast charging stations in China with over 2,700 charging piles, all of which can support 800V charging. Zeekr plans to expand the network to 1,000 ultra-fast charging stations in 2024 and will be operating over 10,000 ultra-fast charging piles in 2026,” said the company.
