800HP Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer Prototype Concept
This Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer prototype won’t be hitting showrooms anytime soon, as it was designed to be a full-on track machine. Engineers at Honda Performance Development (HPD) and Auto Development Center (ADC), along with designers from North America Auto Design Division of American Honda have come together to create an SUV that will definitely make you look twice.

It won’t be officially unveiled until February 28th, so the only thing we know is that its hybrid powerplant, most likely some variant of a 2.0L four-cylinder engine, mated to two electric motors, will generate a combined 800hp. From the teaser images, it looks like the interior has also been completely stripped of all creature comforts, leaving just a racing seat, roll cage, and an F1-like steering wheel, complete with an LCD right in the middle.
